Case of fistula in perinea with stricture of the urethra

The handwritten note on the back reads 'Case of fistula in perinea with stricture of the urethra. In this case both the testes were atrophied and lay close the external abdominal [?]. The scrotum formed a ridgy irregular indurated mass. Several fistula existed thro which urine flowed when the efforts were made. He passed a considerable proportion also through the external [?] The penis was swollen and its integuments oedematous. This patient was aged 70 and of enfeebled habit, emaciated and of excitable nervous system. It was therefore thought advisable not to subject him to any operation. E.H'.
